Lisa Brice in Venice: Museo Fortuny

A picture collection by Lisa Brice on the 14th of May 2015. This should take you 2 minutes to read.

‘Porportio’, curated by Axel Vervoordt and Daniela Ferretti is located in the imposing Palazzo Fortuny. In amongst and in relation to it’s remarkable wunderkammer’ type permanent collection, the exhibition explores the omnipresence of universal proportions in art, science, music and architecture. I felt the installation was a little ‘overkill’ and overly elaborate at times, but there are some great paintings, and a fantastic wooden model of one of my favourite buildings, Le Corbusier’s, ‘Poissy, Villa Savoye’. Well worth a visit.unnamed
