Goodman Gallery‘s Art | Basel booth featured Liza Lou’s Continuous Mile, attracting the attention of artnet’s Rozalia Jovanovic:
The work, titled, Continuous Mile, took 50 local women one year to make in Durban, South Africa. The glimmering white rope was installed in the booth one layer at a time for six hours because the labor is all part of the practice.
