In conversation with Turiya Magadlela

on the 13th of September 2015. This should take you < 1 minute to read.

Turiya Magadlela recently won the FNB Art Prize. Chad Rossouw chats to her about her featured show Imihuzuko at the FNB Joburg Art Fair. This show explores two types of fabric, nylon pantihose and correctional services sheets, and includes a cell-like installation of prison beds.

Magadlela will be having a show at blank in October, and we are looking forward to seeing her work develop.
