Texx and the City‘s Tecla Ciolfi has interviewed Cape Town rap crew Dookoom about their latest controversial music video Dirty, directed by Pieter Hugo and featuring Lilith. The interview covers how the collaboration with Hugo came about, sensationalism, misconceptions of condoning violence against women and creating a space for dealing with hard subjects.
