Bring Your Own Beamer

A by Artthrob on the 11th of July 2016. This should take you < 1 minute to read.

‘Bring Your Own Beamer’ is a project started by artist Rafaël Rozeldaal. It works on a first-come-first-serve basis. Participants bring their own projectors (AKA “beamer”) or light source. They show their work on any available spot they can find. The result is a great visual mash-up of light-based work. BYOBs are held all around the world, giving artists a chance to have fun with the medium. This Cape Town edition, organised by Matty Roodt, will be held as part of the Creative Exchange at The Watershed as part of the V&A Waterfront’s edition of Museum Night. Showcasing the young, experimental, and, anyone for that matter.
