Thupelo invite applications to participate in the Thupelo workshop at The Nyanga Arts Development Centre, Nyanga, Cape Town from May 02 – May 12 2017.

Thupelo workshops are artists led, and were initiated in response to a need for interaction between artists. This workshop will include up to 15 artists from around the world; all with experience in their various practices and able to experiment, exchange knowledge, and expand their ideas. In addition to communal working space, facilities for this workshop include a printmaking studio and a computer lab.

Note:
The workshop is not suited for digital arts as it does not have the facilities for it. It is ideal for performance, printmaking, painting, and sculpting/3D work. We cannot cover accommodation costs.

Thupelo will cover the following:
-production material
-breakfast and lunch
-per diem for transport within Cape Town

To apply to be a participant please send:
50 word biography,
 a copy of your ID (or passport)
 5 images of your work

To: info@thupelo.com or deliver by hand at Greatmore Studios, 47-49 Greatmore Street, Woodstock by April 07 2017 (noon).

Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

Selection: Tuesday, 11 April 2017
Applicants will be informed by Thursday, 13 April 2017
Workshop begins: Tuesday, 02 May 2017, 8am – 8pm daily
Workshop ends: Friday, 12 May 2017
Walkabout: Saturday, 13 May 2017
Cleanup: Sunday, 14 May 2017
