Mthethwa Trial | Sentencing Postponed, Bail Denied

A news item by Artthrob on the 29th of March 2017. This should take you < 1 minute to read.

Today at the Western Cape High Court, Zwelethu Mthethwa’s sentencing hearing was scheduled to take place.

Sentencing has however been postponed to the 20th April due to Mr Booth citing problems with access to Pollsmoor Prison to prepare experts for mitigation in the sentencing hearing.

Mr Booth has reapplied for Mthethwa’s bail, and ruling will be made on that application on Friday 31st March.

*UPDATE: Mthethwa has been denied bail. Sentencing will continue on the 20th of April.
