'The Family Safe'
Eric Chevalier at The Photographers GalleryBorn in Rome, Eric Chevalier grew up in Canada and studied in Denmark. His photographic work focuses on issues of displacement, migration and alienation and particularly references the family album. In ‘The Family Safe’ he investigates the hypothetical photo album for the individual without roots, using both family photographs and found images to construct a series of 30 photographs.
