Sibikwa Saturday Arts Academy

Having achieved great acclaim and honours in 2004, Sibikwa's Saturday Arts Academy is prepared to open its doors on February 5 for another year. The Academy's official mantra is 'to expand learners' horizons, to show them their true potential and teach them to work together in a creative and productive way. At the Academy learners from 4 to 24 years are afforded the opportunity'.
The programme runs on Saturdays throughout the year and encompasses dance, drama, music and visual arts. Utilising the creative arts, learners are encouraged to publicly display their talents in the hope of gaining further 'confidence and self worth.'
Identified by the DAC as a 'school of excellence' Sibikwa looks forward to living up to its reputation as it celebrates its 10th year in 2005. Registration closes on March 5. Interested individuals should contact Joyce or Yana at (011) 422 4359 or email sibikwa@iafrica.com.
