New monthly event at the NSA
The NSA Gallery is introducing a new monthly event called 'Hot Topic'. An opportunity to discuss current exhibitions or events the evening presentations will include talks and visual presentations. This month's event presents Lynne Lomofsky discussing her exhibition 'Body of Evidence'.
Also during this evening the NSA will be screening 'Gifted Beauty' a film by Anne Kjersti Bjorn (Norway). In Paris during the thirties surrealism grew around the slogan "L'amour fou" - wild love. The men, like Max Ernst and Salvador Dali, became famous, but what about the women? This film presents a unique and rare opportunity to see the women of Surrealism. A discussion will follow the 52-minute screening.
Entry fee is R15 (members, pensioners, students R10). This includes a complimentary drink.
