Two Not One in Paris
In a previous update we mentioned that Curating the
Waves, Gavin Younge's meditation on African wars
and the persistence of memory would be premiered in
Paris at the Cinéma l'Arlequin. We failed to mention
that Cape Town-based Edward Young, who recently made
the news with his auction piece titled Bruce
Gordon, was also a participant on the 'Rencontres
internationales Paris/Berlin' festival. Young
contributed a video piece entitled Killing
Teddy. The exhibition closed February 28, 2003.
