Invitation to join the International Council of Museums, South Africa
The International Council of Museums (ICOM) has recently re-established a National Committee in South Africa with Professor HC Jatti Bredekamp elected as the Chair of the Executive Board.
By joining ICOM you will join some 21 000 global museum professionals of all disciplines from around the world. ICOM has 30 International Committees, each devoted to the study of a particular type of museum (museums of fine art, science or literature) or to a specific museum-related discipline (conservation, education, documentation, etc). By becoming a member of any one of these committees you will have the opportunity to exchange specialist information at an international level with colleagues who share the same professional interest.
