Art Conference in Norway
Are there foreigners in Art? is the title of an international conference organised by the National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design in Oslo and Du store verden!/DSV on February 14 and 15.
The venue is the Litteraturhuset, and the moderator is Thomas Hylland Eriksen.
Speakers include David Elliott on 'Why Multiculturalism should be irrelevant' and Senegalese curator Koyo Kouoh on 'When and Where I enter: (back)grounds of connections in international art practices and exhibition circuits'. Els van der Plas' paper will be 'On Beauty and Other Unfinished Things'.
