Jean Katambayi Mukendi will have an open studio and be giving a short presentation on his work at the VANSA space. Jean has most recently shown at the Dakar Biennial, also exhibiting at Digibap, Marseilles, Gallery of Contemporary Aeroplastics, Brussels, Picha, Lubumbashi, and PIXELHACHE, Finland.

The term often incurs nuances in approaches to form and content. For the same energy, there is migration, mutation, transformation, a kind of regression that can converge from a three-dimensional shape to a one-dimensional form. This work simulates the appearance and reappearance of extinctions in a natural context to the extent that the notion of the cardinal points and can move to the point that we can access á an ideal map of thought and urban planning.
