This is an exhibition of new paintings by Virginia Mackenny, recently back in South Affrica from a fellowship at the Ampersand Foundation in New York. An assortment of strange objects float in the blue colourfield paintings that dominate the exhibition, suggesting a parity between the extraordinary and the commonplace.
