Dear Paul
I recently acquired a painting by Peter Lamb, I believe he was born in 1905 and passed away in 1963, his full names were Peter Percival William.
I would like to know more about him but find it very difficult to get information, can you direct me to websites or with any other information regarding Lamb?

There is a short entry on Lamb in Garania Ogilvie's Dictionary of South African painters and Sculptors. There are works by him in most of the country's major galleries.

I wonder if you could help me. I am interested in a Tretchikoff painting entitled 'The Lost Orchid', dated 1948. Do you have any information on its whereabouts and how much the piece would cost?

While Tretchikoff prints are numerous and widely distributed, his paintings are obviously a little more scarce. With the amount of interest shown in his work lately, they fetch quite a high price.
