JOHANNESBURG
This was the show curated by Biennale director Okwui Enwezor and Octavio Zaya, which explored the 'Trade Routes and Geography' theme of the Biennale. Eighty-seven artists from around the world are particapating.
A cyber mix of cultures curated by Hou Hanru.
'Transversions', Yu Yeon Kim's finely tuned curation gives us one of the most exciting shows on the whole Biennale. Local artists like William Kentridge appear alongside such art world stars as Dennis Oppenheim and Xu Bing.
Lyrical show by Cuban curator, Gerardo Mosqeuro, who considered the influential role of established
artists in the art world. |
