Galerie bertrand & gruner presents a new body of work by Mustafa Maluka. Known for theatrically confronting the intersection of contemporary critical theory and global politics with his provocative portraits, the artist returns to Geneva with a new body of work entitled, 'The Rhetoric of Sincerity/The Sincerity of Rhetoric'.

Combining art historical and cultural sources Maluka engages the viewer with current manifestations of sincerity and its ramifications within the real world. This new body of work is a journey that takes the viewer on a long walk from rhetoric to reality.
