ROOM ARTIST IN RESIDENCY
OPEN CALL
The residency is open to practitioners from diverse creative and non/creative fields, which want to engage artistically with their field and/or want to collaborate with Johannesburg based artists in the development, execution and presentation of their ideas. ROOM’s residency will provide a context, network – both professional and physical – to local, regional and international participants.
Please send motivation letters and CV by 30 July 2017 for the period September 2017 – March 2018.
Shortlisted candidates will be informed by 15 August 2017.

BHEKA NOW-MARCH 2018
BHEKA is a window residency within ROOM Gallery & Projects with an emphasis on occupation and creative engagement. The window exists as a site of artistic production and interaction; informing a visual encounter between the public and the space of the gallery itself.
