Santu Mofokeng’s Graves at FNB Art Fair

A story by

Chad Rossouw

on the 13th of September 2015. This should take you < 1 minute to read.

At an art fair there is an surfeit of work, and photography in particular can have a hard time standing out. Santu Mofokeng’s ‘Graves’ however combines exquisite lighting, savvy installation and, of course, fascinating content. ‘Graves’ looks at the complex intersection between burial, land rights and access.

Graves is featured at the Maker booth at the FNB Joburg Art Fair
