The AVA announces 2023 programme

AVA seeks new board members
The Association for Visual Arts is calling for nominations for new Board Members in the fields of Finance, Archives and Contemporary Art/Programming. You must be a member to be nominated, and any paid-up member may nominate (a) member(s) of their choice. Nominations must include the signature of nominees, (indicating their acceptance to stand for the AVA’s Board) as well as their CV abbreviated to 150 words. All Board Members offer their services on a voluntary basis. Nominate using this form by 14 September 2022.
Kalashnikovv Gallery is moving
Kalashnikovv Gallery is moving to new exhibition spaces located in the historical Johannesburg Sheriff’s building at 69 Juta Street. This Saturday, they open the gallery with two new exhibitions: Read the room by Yolanda Mazwana in the main Gallery and New Signings, a group show featuring Boemo Diale, Charity Vilakazi, Mncedi Madolo and Tinyiko Makwaka in the project space.
