Zeitz MOCAA hosts Gucci gala and opens new exhibition

When We See Us, A Century of Black Figuration in Painting is an expansive, well-researched exhibition that includes work by over 150 artists. Zeitz opened the show to the public this past weekend, with a Gucci-sponsored gala dinner and party on the Saturday night. It was fun to see industry hotshots shuffle around the warrens of Zeitz MOCAA’s old silo building in their opulent attire. ArtThrob would like to give a big shout out to the museum’s staff who worked hard to pull off this massive production. And a big thank you for the invite 🙂
