One of South Africa’s best known artists, Lisa Brice was born in Cape Town, South Africa, in 1968, and graduated from the Michaelis School of Fine Art in 1990. With a solid reputation as a painter and a mixed media artist, Brice currently lives and works in London, and exhibits internationally.
Brice’s untitled print, created and produced especially for Editions for ArtThrob, is a highly expressive lithograph which pursues the theme of the heat and
akwardness of adolescent love and desire – the focus of the work presented on Brice’s acclaimed 2007 exhibition at the Goodman Gallery Cape, ‘Base One Two Three’.
Brice’s untitled lithograph is hand printed in three colours on Arches paper by Stephen Inggs and Andrea Steer in the Printmaking Studio at the Michaelis School of Fine Art in Cape Town.
